Dry Harbor is a positive, comforting environment with innovative rehabilitation services and attentive staff. Families feel especially at home at our community because of the longevity of our caring staff. Our award-winning facility features luxurious common areas, including a dayroom with a view on each floor and an outdoor deck. Patients’ rooms are complete with beautiful furniture, smart televisions, internet access, and large bathtubs.
We offer therapy seven days a week from dedicated staff with highly-maintained advanced equipment. Physical, occupational, speech, and dysphagia therapy are all available, as well as cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and audiology. Two sophisticated hydrotherapy machines relax muscles and ease pain in a spa-like setting. Our team works tirelessly to help patients reach full recovery in a personable, well-coordinated way. An entire rehab pavilion is set aside for short-term patients to help them prepare to return home. Discharge planning takes into account each individual’s specific needs and home environment and is followed up by check-ins after patients have left.
Our skilled nursing services include pain management, sleep apnea treatment, IV therapy, and wound care by our qualified,upbeat nursing staff. There is always a physician on premises or on call. Each long-term nursing unit has its own staff, ensuring personalized care and relationships with residents. Dementia patients benefit from 24-hour monitoring and cognitive therapy.
The Dry Harbor community allows residents to be involved in fun outings, volunteer opportunities, art therapy, and other enjoyable recreational activities. We celebrate our diversity, celebrating special holidays together and facilitating cultural clubs. At mealtime, there are always menu choices, and our chefs skillfully create meals from diverse traditions, including Chinese, Mexican, and kosher dishes. We are happy to provide free transportation for family visits, and encourage you and your loved one to be a part of our community!
